Megan Blunk – There’s the before the accident, after the accident & after the after the accident

This is what I looked like after trying to tidy the house up for like 20 min this last Sunday.

Not to mention the fact that I was pmsing and losing my mind. I was hoping that maybe I could just clean up a bit and help get my mind straight. But these casts were heavy and I realized that even just tidying up the house a bit was too much time for my feet to not be elevated.

The weight of the casts put pressure on my incisions and probably didn’t make my newly cut tendons feel very good either. All I know is that it felt like fire…it felt like my incisions were ripping open (they weren’t…it’s just the type of sensation I have but I also stopped doing what I was doing and laid down to help myself handle it.)

Once the blood flow got back to my feet, that horrible pain sensation settled down and I was able to finish a few small tasks and then took it easy for another few days before trying anything like that again.

Since that day, I have healed drastically and feel much more like myself. Even these little pins in my toes are starting to feel normal ☺️☺️☺️
